Some facts about teeth whitening.

Teeth whitening is the #1 requested personal service in America.

There are many companies jumping into the teeth whitening business. Most of them are only interested in whitening teeth.

UltraCare WHITE TEETH is a wellness system. Daily use of our products kills bacteria in the mouth, helps gums to be healthy and strong, eliminates odors in the mouth, and is the safest and most effective way to create whiter, brighter teeth.

Teeth whitening is like tanning, working out, hair coloring, and any other personal service, doing it once doesn't give a lasting result. Stains didn't just happen one day, staining of the teeth is on going. Whitening your teeth can remove both surface stains and below surface stains, but new stains will begin to form as soon as you resume eating and drinking. To keep your teeth their whitest you must be willing to maintain by removing the onset of new stains daily.

Most companies offering teeth whitening offer a one time whitening priced anywhere from $99 to $1,500. Many of these same companies don't offer a complete system to include maintaining the whitened teeth on an on going basis. If you want to remove deeper stains or achieve a whiter effect than the one time visit, it will cost your the full price to whiten again. Each tooth in your mouth will whiten at a different rate. To achieve an all over balanced white, you will likely need to whiten more than once, with the second or third whitening session focusing on just the lower bottom and canine teeth. UltraCare WHITE TEETH understands this and has developed a whitening kit that gives you everything you need to achieve a complete, balanced whitening. At your first visit you purchase the kit that is right for your whitening needs. The kit has everything you need for return visits to use the L.E.D. power whitening light, plus your daily maintenance products. Once you have purchased your whitening kit, return visits are a fraction of the price, three - eight minute cycles using the L.E.D. power whitening light is just $25.00.

No teeth whitening system should cause tooth sensitivity, pain, or gum irritation. If the gums have to be treated before the whitening gel is applied question yourself as to why you would allow something that potentially harmful to be put in your mouth. Stains can be easily removed without the use of lasers and dangerous levels of hydrogen peroxide.

Know what is in the products you are using to whiten your teeth. Fluoride is a good thing is very small amounts. Fluoride also stains teeth. You do not want fluoride in your teeth whitening products. Companies add fluoride to reduce the tooth sensitivity caused by their whitening product. THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANY TOOTH SENSITIVITY! Therefore, there shouldn't be the need to add fluoride to a whitening product.

The peroxide used in all teeth whitening formulas must be suspended to prevent separation. About 99% of the formulas manufactured use glycerin. Glycerin is very effective at suspending the oxygen molecules. It is so effective that when the gel is applied to the teeth the oxygen molecules are prevented from moving freely. It's like placing the oxygen molecules in straight jackets. Teeth whitening is achieved by oxygen molecules moving rapidly bumping into stain molecules. The more rapid the oxygen molecules move the more stain molecules eliminated. Watch out for products that have glycerin listed as an ingredient, the percentage (strength) of peroxide has to be greater to achieve even a small whitening effect. UltraCare WHITE TEETH uses a 7.5% hydrogen peroxide and a 30% carbamide peroxide. We achieve whiter results without tooth sensitivity, pain, or gum irritation. We have customers come to us after having had a laser whitening done in their dentist office. They were disappointed in the poor results and were still desiring to have whiter teeth. The same customers are amazed at how white their teeth are after they use the UltraCare WHITE TEETH system. Many of these customers tell us stories of trying to use the take home trays fitted by their dentist. Their teeth and gum sensitivity would be so painful they couldn't force themselves to use the trays, no matter how badly they desired to have whiter teeth.

I could go on and on about teeth whitening, it is truly my passion.
